Welcome back everyone, and thank you each of you that took part in last months challenge “Pink & Fluffy” and congratulations to our winners.
This month, in our second ever challenge, I wanted to celebrate the birth of my son Cole John Watson who joined us on the 29th July 09. So…. the flavour of the challenge this month is Birthstones – I thought “It’s a boy” may have been a bit obvious 
It is the chance for you to research your own birthstone also, and to help you along I have listed the modern day birthstones below.
January – Garnet
February – Amethyst
March – Aquamarine
April – Diamond
May – Emerald
June – Pearl, Moonstone
July – Ruby
August – Peridot
September – Saphire
October – Opal, Tourmaline
November - Yellow Topaz, Citrine
December – Blue Topaz, Turquoise
This is a list of what is consider the modern birthstones, however don’t forget that there are Traditional, Mystical, and Ayurvedic birthstones as well.
Now the important bit… the prize this month is $15 to spend in the Crafty Downloads online store, and with our new images launching later this month, the selection is getting bigger.
